Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is an effective treatment for a variety of injuries stemming from auto accidents. These accidents often leave behind unwanted symptoms such as whiplash, neck and back pain, misaligned hips and concussions. Whiplash occurs when a sudden jarring movement of the head is sustained. This destabilizes the spine and causes severe pain especially when left untreated. Neck and back injuries can cause nerve damage, but chiropractic care can relieve stiffness and pain in those areas preventing permanent and future damage.

Wellness Exams

Our strategy for dealing with pain has resulted in a whole-person approach to patient care which includes health promotion, disease prevention and therapeutic conservatism. We embrace this level of care and want to help you work towards this wellness mindset.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is an old healing practice of traditional Chinese medicine dating back over 4,000 years. It still remains effective today as a way to strengthen the body rather than merely treating symptoms. It is primarily used to relieve pain as well as treat other conditions. More than 3 million Americans and 200,000 children in the U.S. have had Dry Needling to help relieve a symptom or condition. Because of its low side effects, it has been the treatment of choice for many doctors across the country. It is even more popular in other countries.

X-Rays

One of the most important elements of chiropractic care is diagnostics. Chiropractic radiology is a tool utilized in care as a diagnostic practice to rule out pathology (such as possible tumor or fracture) and/or an additional aid to determine where to adjust the spine.

Spinal Decompression

Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally. Spinal decompression is an excellent option for anyone with chronic back pain who wants to get back to living a pain-free life as quickly as possible.

Nutritional Counseling

In order to care for you as a whole patient from the foundation, it is necessary to integrate nutrition into your wellness plan. The best way to get the nutrients you need is to consume whole foods. If we all ate perfectly, no supplementation would be needed. However, the majority of Americans do not get enough balanced nutrition due to various reasons. Our goal is to find fun and easy ways to incorporate a healthy mind-set for our patients.
